The most fortunate “accident” of my life was stumbling into that first, unexpected sales job. Building a career in sales has opened up doors that I never dreamed possible and I am a fierce believer that a career in sales can open up a world of possibility for those that navigate it with empathy, grit, honesty, and ambition. I’m proud of what I’m accomplished in sales, and love helping others find the same levels of success.
Sales is hard. Leading others in that noble mission is even harder. Great sales leadership doesn’t just happen, and it’s not simply the logical next step of every top-performing salesperson. Leading sales teams takes humility, empathy, self-awareness, and so much more. But the rewards for doing it well are almost unimaginable. Great leaders are those that bring out greatness in others, and it’s a privilege to help other sales leaders on that journey.
We need diverse thought, diverse background, and diverse perspectives in order to maximize our potential as individuals and as organizations. While I still have so much to learn about DE&I and how to get it right, I am committed to being an advocate and an ally each and every day and to devoting myself to continue expanding my knowledge and perspective as we work towards a more equitable world for us all.
